VLOG - accents and regional dialects thingy

So here's the Vlog.  Apologies if this shows up 15 times in google reader.  I kept having to re-upload as it was out of sync.

Hop over to Memphis Steve's blog to check out some more...

THE WORDY PART:
Say these words:

Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

Now answer these questions:

What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?

What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?

What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?

What do you call gym shoes?

What do you say to address a group of people?

What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?

What do you call your grandparents?

What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?

What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?

What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

Funny accent :-)
It is Aussie-style!
I´m kinda "glad" I don´t have a web-cam, I hate to hear my voice.

Aw, gosh.
My heart hurts hearing the bad news.
So sorry. Wishing you strength...
Hugs! Xx

Hey DogBoy - I'll check it out!

Caz - thanks, I hope it does, but not too soon x

Iris - yeah..haha would love to see you do one!

xl - yes they are, is that why you visited here?

emma - I think mine changes. It started quite British when I was young (don't know why as mum is sri lankan and dad from the US) but I remember when I was in the band it was very ocker. Depends on who we hang with sometimes I think.

Electro Kevin - welcome! Thanks. Going to check yours out shortly.

NWT - thanks Alasdair x

Your accent is like music, pretty woman. I'm glad I thought to ask someone in West Australia and someone in East Australia because you are different, ever so slightly. It's like Shakespeare. And I like the 'champaigne' answer. Several of you think alike - all women, too. Ha ha! I guess I should've said 'beer.' I love your answer for the remote - a small child. That's classic! And thank you so much for doing this. :-)
