Fusion - haha yeah, maybe 47 and save the rest for another time!

Cheryl - and you think I'm joking!

Kerry - no, but thanks, I've added that to my packing list :p

Katie - I have a photocopy of the list all ready for you!

Sounds like BamBam should be renamed to Whambam...

And, maybe he has a stash of those little blue happy pills...

and, and, don't forget the evidence...

My personal favourite is "Standing at Kitchen Bench". What number is that one?

Frankie said...

hahaha Blinder...yes 'Standing at Kitchen Bench while kids are out in the back yard' came in at about number 3!

Oh gosh, I couldn't be more thrilled, especially as you'll be doing it in my new bed at Cunts Nest.
I'm off to buy 6 mattress protectors; you may have to help Bammers on to the bed...

Frankie said...

Fingers - No. 175 does already involve me giving Bams a 'leg up' so we'll save that for Cunts Nest. Thanks for being so hospitable. I suggest perhaps a sofa cover also.....

fingers said...

Good idea !!!
You can throw it over the kids and cover their eyes...

Frankie said...

Thanks fingers but it may not be necessary. Word has it Bams read my post and fainted....

Bambam said...

No I didn't faint. I was just stuck on number 17... only 330 to go!

Fingers, can you have the pool table set up in the garage too? And I don't need to apologise in advance for that one: it's mine! HAHA!

Oh, there's no. 18 thanks to Word Verification: PREHUM! I'm assuming that's what I get pre-waking up!??

Frankie said...

Yes it is dear, we spoke about No.18 already. You know I distinctly recall asking you the other night if you had a pen ready to take everything down.....

happy for ya :) can i ask a lame question - i wish i could leave this anonymously - that's how lame it is!! but is it weird meeting someone you've only known online? in the coming months i'm meeting someone i'm completely smitten with who lives miles away. i completely didn't intend this to happen and frankly it all sounds like something out of a bad novel. but here i am. anyway, as the date gets closer, the more freaked out i'm becoming. all i keep thinking is that he hasn't seen any of my faults yet - how different it will be in person - how completely awkward it will be. up until the date was set, i was completely chilled out about it. i just thought it would be the same in person as it is online - just more fun. now i'm completely paniced and convinced it's going to be awful (although funnily i don't worry about me not liking him, just him not liking me). am i just being a deranged crazy person? you're the only person i know who has done this. my friends all think i'm crazy for even entertaining the thought of going to see him. ahem. appreciate your time.

Hi Emma,
I can't speak for meeting any romantic interest on line BUT I have made some great friendships in real life due to meeting other bloggers online.
So good luck and hope it all works out for you!
LIz ;)

oh emma it's not a lame question at all and it was EXACTLY how I was feeling before our date. Truly. I liked him so much that it barely occurred to me that I might not like him in person, but I was consumed with thoughts that he wouldn't like ME. (btw I know he had similar thoughts but he just wasn't as vocal about it).

I'd been on stacks of 'internet' dates before but never anything long distance like this. There had never been such a build up and such a length of time to get to know each other and..well, pretty much fall in love before I even met him.

Yeah some people think I'm mental, but they are mostly those who don't get into the online stuff as much. As with Liz, I've met lots of wonderful friends online. Some have met in person (here in Perth) and some I've spoken to on the phone. Just because I met them in cyberspace, doesn't mean they're not real friends.

So, be nervous and freak out before the date - it's perfectly normal. You're not deranged! I thought our date would be awkward but it wasn't at all because we were such great friends already. Anything more was just going to be a bonus (and what a bonus!)

Funny thing is, over the last 8 weeks since our date, I've started to get nervous AGAIN. Maybe he's forgotten I'm a bit curvy. Maybe he's forgotten I have cellulite! Maybe he's gonna notice my faults and this time he IS going to worry about them. And then I let the RATIONAL part of my brain kick in and remember, that he loves me :O)

PS - feel free to email me and let me know how it goes!

aww thanks heaps :) that was really calming. i appreciate you taking the time to shed some light on the situation and reassure me. i will let you know. it's not for months tho (thankgod in a way). it's a perculiar situation and i'm not quite sure how i ended up in it. but it feels lovely and i hope it's as wonderful in person. i feel much better after reading what you wrote. thanks again and i'll keep you posted. enjoy your holiday together x

Frankie said...

well if it feels lovely, you got no choice then!

x

emma said...

yeaaaaaah i know LOL that's the scary thing. i'm completely and utterly smitten :)

Frankie said...

smitten is gooood. Smitten doesn't happen every day :o)

Jesus be gentle with poor Bam Bam...does he really have that much stamina? Good luck and use plenty of lube you don't want to wear this todger down to a nub!!

Bambam said...

@emma: As Frankie said, what you're feeling is totally normal. As long as you haven't misrepresented yourself, I would be totally confident he is going to feel the same butterflies and be just as smitten with you as you are with him.

It is WAY lamer to forego feelings like that because you met on the internet. This is the 21st century. There's a reason there are countless thousands of people on dating websites. If they never worked, it wouldn't exist!

I met Frankie thru blogging, but would it matter more if I bumped into her in a store, or chatted her up at a pub? I don't think so.

Good luck girl. Goggles on!

Frankie said...

EmmaK - 'todger' hahaha I like it! Not sure about the stamina but we may just end up with 3 and a half shags and spend the rest of the 8 days screaming at the kids!

Bambam said...

... or end up with 3-and-a-half kids and the rest of the 8 days screaming at the shags?

Frankie said...

quite possibly!

thanks heaps for all the calming advice. appreciate it. can't wait to hear about your fab holiday together x
